E&I Technician
Job details
Perform day to day safe pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and operation, E&I maintenance activities to achieve plant commissioning and operational stability, improvement of equipment and plant conditions, accomplishment of commissioning and production targets, HSE compliance and production efficiency.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform safe and productive pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation and maintenance activities.
- Conduct precommissioning, commissioning, PMs, daily checks, testing such as loop testing, megger testing, PLC analysis, control panel and systems troubleshooting, panel programming.
- Clear understanding of Systems Completions, Punch List Management System.
- Provide feedback to supervisor to improve project performance & assist with completing PM reports & other documentation.
- Keep track of electrical equipment and instrumentation commissioning progress, performance, daily logs books, follow maintenance schedules and plans.
- Repair and troubleshoot, alternators, transmitters, flow meters, breakers, switch gear, switches, valves, control panels and motor systems.
- Respond to customer call outs and emergency requirements and develop customer relationships to further field service work.
- Support site leadership with spare parts management that includes inventory levels and counts, Min-Max, parts movement tracking.
- Assist with equipment and plant operations and troubleshooting.
- Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum Electrical Diploma or engineering certificate and HV certification.
- Minimum 7+ years experience in similar work environment. Precommissioning and Commissioning Experience is a must.
- Commissioning and O&M of Waukesha, Caterpillar, Frick and Ariel compressors, be ready and willing to learn on new equipment.
- Hands on experience on PCS, ESD, F&G systems, Burner management system, turbotronic systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of PC tools, including Microsoft office MS Word and MS Excel.
- Able to read/understand P&ID and Wiring schematics including single line diagrams.
- Able to work under pressure and with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.
- Motivated, organized, strong problem-solving skills, positive and respectful.
Physical Requirements
Remote site working conditions, hot & humid climate, long working hours, on call after hours. Travel from country to country on short notice.About Us:
