Airswift is seeking a QMI and Metering Technician to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company. QUALIFICATIONS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for maintaining the technical integrity of the integrated Production systems to ensure that maintenance of production facilities and equipment is effectively undertaken.
  • Ensure total asset integrity, reliability/availability is maintained and that work is executed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Independently work at FDM for diagnostics and monitoring. Able to interpret diagnostic recommendations and alarms and report.
  • Contribute to the reliability and availability of the plant QMI equipment by application of approved standards, procedures, and schedules and effect control within an ISO certified quality assurance system.
  • Carry out QMI Isolation, disconnection, and connection as required.
  • Carry out custody metering maintenance in compliance with Qatar Energy Measurement Guidelines.
  • Become an approved Competent Electrical Person for Low Voltage Equipment and QMI Isolation.
  • Contribute to Major Turnarounds/Shutdowns for Instrumentation & QMI.
  • Ensure no overdue PM jobs.
  • Maintain a 'Goal Zero' mindset as the primary work culture. Demonstrate and visibly practice Safety Leadership. Actively participate in 'We Care' walkdowns and share observations and learnings with the team.
  • Promote an Incident and Injury Free Culture in QSGTL.
  • Compliance with the Company's code of conduct, HSSE Procedures, and Permit to Work are mandatory requirements.
  • Report to QMI Supervisor and ensure individual mapped competency requirements and WALP requirements are achieved in the prescribed timeline. The QMI Technician shall drive the WALP/Job Competency program with assistance from the coach/Supervisor.
  • The QMI Technician will undergo the mandatory COMPEX training, and successful completion will enable him to perform routine activities individually.
  • Ensure upgrading of technical and professional competence as part of individual development and active involvement in QMI Maintenance, FDM, PCD Compliance.
  • Accountable for the maintenance of Field QMI by carrying out Flawless Asset QMI Maintenance and/or assigned Turnaround responsibilities. The QMI Technician shall execute the assigned task with technical accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide accurate feedback that enables knowledge sharing and correct records in CMMS (SAP). Full utilization of the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Actively participate in the ME process thereby working towards achievement of team KPIs. CM/PM Compliance, Scheduled Attainment, SAP History Codes, etc.
  • Participate in the assigned QA/QC assurance process of the QMI Maintenance in the field/workshop.
  • Participate in Call-Out Duty Roster.
  • Report Spare Issues to Supervisor and ensure follow-up.
  • Interface with other disciplines and departments to enable high-quality maintenance execution.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 10 years of experience and skill in the field of QMI and metering maintenance in a live Oil & Gas plant environment.
  • Clear understanding and experience of Foundation Field bus and HART devices.
  • Knowledge competency in SPI.
  • Knowledge competency of Plant change system and demonstrate adherence.
  • Knowledge competencies in AMADAS system.
  • Skill competencies in Analyzer House Safety system.
  • Skill competency in Custody Transfer Metering and Gas Detection System.
  • Skill competency for Complex QMI e.g. GC's / IC's / COD's / CEMS, O2/ TOC/Density/NDIR/Dew Point, ASTM / Physical Property's QMI, PGC Data Communication Network & Field QMI.
  • Skill competency for QMI and associated sampling System setup including recovery Systems Maintenance.
  • Skill competency in the application of ePTW system and attachments.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English with all levels and all departments in the organization; fluency in English, both in writing and verbally, is mandatory.
