Do what you love; care for the world; dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESS Job Description Raffles Doha is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong background in F&B management, and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

  1. Lead and manage all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and events.
  2. Supervise, train, and develop the F&B team, ensuring high morale, motivation, and performance.
  3. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  4. Work closely with the Director of F&B to develop strategic plans and achieve departmental goals.

Operational Excellence

  1. Ensure all F&B outlets operate efficiently and profitably, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  2. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of F&B outlets to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  4. Monitor and manage F&B budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment, to maximize profitability.

Guest Satisfaction

  1. Address and resolve guest complaints and feedback related to F&B services promptly and effectively.
  2. Maintain a strong presence in F&B outlets, engaging with guests to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to anticipate and fulfill guest needs and preferences.

Menu Development And Quality Control

  1. Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to develop innovative and appealing menus.
  2. Ensure consistent quality and presentation of food and beverages across all outlets.
  3. Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Training And Development

  1. Develop and conduct training programs for F&B staff to ensure consistent service standards and professional development.
  2. Implement performance appraisal and feedback mechanisms to encourage staff growth and improvement.
  3. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into training and operational procedures.

Sales And Marketing

  1. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events to drive F&B revenue.
  2. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to enhance the F&B offering.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Minimum of 7 years of F&B management experience in a luxury hotel environment, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
  3. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  4. Proven ability to manage a large team and multiple outlets.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest standards of service and quality.
  6. Proficiency in F&B management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  8. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
