Strategy and Planning

  1. Support manpower planning exercises as needed to ensure optimised staffing levels in each department.
  2. Prepare the workforce budget.
Financial
  1. Conduct regular assessments and benchmarking of compensation and benefits structure and levels.
Compensation and Benefits
  1. Develop, implement, and manage compensation and benefits program, including base salary, bonuses, benefits, incentives, and other forms of compensation.
  2. Propose bonus methodologies and other incentive-based reward schemes as part of the overall compensation and benefits strategy.
  3. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure Katara Hospitality’s compensation packages remain competitive within the industry and region, and best practices are applied.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation and benefits.
  5. Monitor changes in legislation and industry best practices to recommend adjustments to compensation and benefits policies and practices as necessary.
  6. Advise on the potential impact of compensation and benefits on KH’s business plans, investment plans, and organisational strategy.
  7. Collaborate with benefit vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders to design benefit programs and ensure effective delivery and communication of benefit offerings.
  8. Support employee enrolments, changes, and terminations in benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  9. Address employee enquiries and concerns related to compensation and benefits, providing guidance and support as required.
People and Change Management
  1. Work effectively with colleagues in HR and across the organisation.
  2. Develop and deliver communication materials, presentations, and training sessions to educate employees on compensation and benefits programs, policies, and changes.
  3. Participate in cross-functional teams and projects related to compensation and benefits, working collaboratively with HR, finance, legal, and other departments.
Business
  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of KH’s business and operations.
Policies, Procedures, and Ways of Working
  1. Review and manage periodic updates of HR processes, policies, and procedures.
  2. Develop and implement standardised and efficient processes that optimise service delivery and enhance employee experience.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits design and implementation.
  2. Demonstrated robust career progression and a proven track record of leading successful strategic compensation initiatives.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  4. Master’s degree preferred.
