We are looking for a CPP Construction Superintendent for one of our clients with the following details: Location: Doha, Qatar / Korea Start Date: MAY 2025 End Date: DEC 2026 Work Status: Residential Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or Company approved equivalent in engineering.
  • Professional Experience (number of years): 15.
  • Experience within project: (number of years): 10.
  • Project and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN, ISO, ASTM, NACE and SSPC.
  • Experience on construction yard is required.
  • A good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication, inspection and pre-commissioning.
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
  • Familiar with PRODOM/MANASA a benefit.
  • Language: English mandatory.
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
Accountabilities: The Construction Superintendent is primarily responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and successful execution of CPP Packages in terms of onshore construction, and has key accountabilities in the following areas:
  • Assist Head of Construction with organization, management, safe, efficient and timely execution & completion of construction & Pre-commissioning activities for CPP Topside scopes.
  • Promote and encourage construction team safety-oriented mindset. Lead Company team to participate and promote Incident Free environment, maintaining a safety culture in compliance with company HSE rules and legislative regulations.
  • Participate in Schedule and Resources Review prior to and during commencement of Construction works. Work closely with Company planner to ensure proper and achievable baseline schedule setup. Monitor actual construction progress, evaluate, assess shortcomings and propose improvements.
  • Monitor and supervise activities carried out by CPP Contractor and Subcontractor/Vendors at the main Topside Construction worksite and at sub-contractor facilities during the execution phases, ensuring that contract technical requirements are duly applied.
  • Verify and approve Contractor's and/or Subcontractors/Vendors' drawings, fabrication procedures and methodologies, ensuring that they have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to perform the job with the required quality level and complete it in due time.
  • Lead several Discipline Superintendents, acting as a team leader, informing and motivating them adequately and giving clear priorities/directions for their performance. Provide support and assistance in their organization, job scheduling, and coordination with other disciplines to ensure quality and timely completion of their work.
  • Actively participate in project weekly/monthly meetings and various audits at Contractors/Subcontractors/Vendors premises.
  • Establish and maintain close interdisciplinary communication with Company Engineering, HSE, Quality, Commissioning & Field Operations team throughout the Project execution phase.
  • Implement the Company Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
  • Involvement during CPP Topsides hook-up, installation, and offshore commissioning phases may also be required.
