Project Manager (Social Transformation) Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee a large-scale social transformation project aimed at uplifting low-income families. The project involves the development of a dedicated residential community that provides holistic support services such as career services, childcare and youth programs, family therapy, counselling, and medical facilities. The Project Manager will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders, including government ministries, statutory boards, social service agencies, and NGOs, to ensure seamless end-to-end project planning, design, hiring and day-to-day operations when project becomes operational. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead the entire lifecycle of the project from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and budgetary constraints. Stakeholder Management: Act as the main liaison between various government ministries, statutory boards, social service agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all parties. Community Development: Oversee the planning and development of the residential community, ensuring integration of critical services such as career support, childcare, family therapy, and medical care. Operations Management: Coordinate daily operations within the residential community, working closely with volunteers and service providers to ensure quality service delivery. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges during the planning and execution stages. Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement mechanisms for continuous monitoring and evaluation of the project’s success in improving the lives of participating families. Budgeting and Reporting: Manage the project budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Prepare and present regular progress reports to internal and external stakeholders. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in managing large-scale social projects, experience working with local government agencies will be a strong advantage. Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in leading multi-stakeholder projects. Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience in working with government ministries, social service agencies, volunteer organizations and NGOs. Strong Interest in Social Mobility Issues: In-depth understanding of issues related to poverty alleviation, community development, and family support services. Budgeting and Financial Management: Strong financial acumen and experience in managing project budgets. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
