Sonographer (5.5 days/Islandwide/Office hours)
Job details
Perform general ultrasound examinations to patients as requested by referring physicians. Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient. Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in patient care, modesty, safety, and infection control. Ensure proper usage and care for ultrasound equipment at the specific diagnostic centre. Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects/activities as assigned by the reporting officer. Responsible for general housekeeping of the allocated diagnostic centre. Render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers. Ensure efficient running and operations of their area of responsibility. Assist the Radiographer-In-Charge/Senior or Principal Sonographer/Radiographer to ensure quality control procedures are performed diligently. Requirements: Recognized and relevant Degree/Postgraduate qualification in Sonography or Radiography. APHC license/AHPC Recognized Diploma/Degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently.
