Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client's team. This role is crucial for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, optimizing processes, leading warehouse personnel, and driving digital transformation and cost-cutting initiatives. Experience Required: Experience in managing a Retail or Retail FMCG warehouse is necessary. The role involves leading a large team of 30-40 staff members, including warehouse personnel and drivers. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic oversight of all technical aspects of warehouse operations, encompassing the optimization of solutions, process enhancement, and digital transformation initiatives aimed at driving efficiency and cost savings. Supervise the end-to-end management of warehouse operations, encompassing the reception, storage, arrangement, and distribution of goods, with a focus on implementing advanced digital tools and systems. Ensure inventory precision through routine stock audits and the implementation of robust inventory control methodologies to mitigate discrepancies and enhance overall operational accuracy. Collaborate closely with suppliers and vendors to orchestrate precise and punctual deliveries, leveraging advanced technological solutions to streamline the supply chain process. Develop and enforce streamlined warehouse protocols and procedures to optimize resource utilization and maximize productivity while adhering to technical standards. Champion process improvements and digital transformation initiatives to bolster operational efficiency, drive cost reductions, and capitalize on emerging technologies. Track and analyze critical performance metrics to fine-tune order fulfillment processes, improve inventory accuracy, and expedite delivery times, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making. Provide leadership and mentorship to a substantial team of warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to stringent safety protocols and operational standards, while also fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Evaluate employee performance, deliver constructive feedback, and identify training opportunities to enhance team proficiency and effectiveness in executing technical warehouse functions. Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, logistics, and retail departments to align warehouse activities with overarching business objectives and optimize operational synergies. Requirements: Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Required: Extensive experience as a Warehouse Manager or a similar role in the retail FMCG sector. Experience in driving digital transformation and cost-cutting initiatives. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Sound knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external parties.
