Senior Government Lawyer - Commercial dispute resolution and litigation $120,636 - $147,778 15.4% Superannuation The Active Creditor team, through its participation in voluntary administration and liquidation processes, represents the department as a creditor where there has been, or is likely to be, an advance under the Fair Entitlements Guarantee scheme. About the role The Senior Government Lawyer will report directly to the Principal Government Lawyer and will be responsible for advising on, and managing, a range of recovery matters (including litigation) on behalf of the Commonwealth under the FEG Recovery Program. About you You will be experienced in commercial litigation (experience advising on insolvency law will be highly regarded), with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have a proven ability to deliver accurate and timely outcomes in a busy environment, whilst managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
