Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer with a background in building construction and rail infrastructure to join our team delivering multiple projects for Queensland Rail. Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, taking prompt corrective action where required Reviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis Effectively assigning tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications Monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against programme and budget as well as undertaking other administrative duties as required Mentoring Project, Site and Graduate Engineers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction, preferably in infrastructure projects. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
