IT Helpdesk Support - JD   About the Role: We are seeking a Helpdesk Technician to provide intermediate-level IT support (Tier 1.5) for both Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking issues, ensuring exceptional end-user support in a dynamic 24x7 remote setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for Windows and Linux systems , including troubleshooting user issues via phone, email, and chat. Manage tickets and escalate issues as required, ensuring resolution within SLA timelines. Handle Major Incidents (MIs), ensuring proper communication, escalation, and resolution using the ITIL framework. Perform system administration tasks, including Active Directory user account management, password resets, and access provisioning. Assist with Office 365 configuration and support. Resolve hardware and software issues virtually, including VPN connectivity, network troubleshooting, and printer issues. Document solutions in a knowledge base and contribute to process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve recurring technical problems. Required Skills and Qualifications: Red Hat Linux or any similar Linux certifications. Intermediate experience in supporting Windows and Linux operating systems. Hands-on experience with: Active Directory for account management. Office 365 administration. Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow). Ability to handle and manage Major Incidents (MIs) effectively. Knowledge of VPN configuration, basic network troubleshooting, and remote support tools. Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 rotational shift environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure AD and VMware technologies. Familiarity with Shell scripting for Linux environments. (O365) ITIL Certification is a plus. Why Join Us?
