Job Title: Liquor Store Manager

Location: Bridle; Johannesburg

Salary: R45 000 – R50 000

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the liquor store, ensuring smooth functionality and excellent customer service.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively and efficiently.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the role.

Utilise accounting and finance knowledge to manage budgets, inventory, and financial reporting.

Work long hours as required to meet operational demands, including weekends and holidays.

Implement and enforce store policies, including taking disciplinary action when necessary.

Prepare regular and accurate reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for senior management.

Train, supervise, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals.

Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.

What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the liquor or beverage industry.

Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles; a relevant qualification is highly desirable.

Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.

Ability to handle disciplinary procedures with fairness and professionalism.

Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility and willingness to work long hours as needed.
