Overview

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management & delivery of the maintenance function for our Concrete production facilities.
• Manage planned downtime to achieve required plant Up Time per week.
• Assume leadership role in the scheduling of shutdown maintenance activities.
• Liaise with the Operations Team and Logistics Management in the development of job plans and receive feedback from completed jobs.
• Responsible for the development, management and implementation of the Routine, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programme and associated improvement works, including the identification by root causes recurring process incidents for elimination.
• Develop and maintain a Maintenance Management System to optimise site maintenance planning, spare parts management & inventory control, maintenance metrics data collection and reporting.
• Manage maintenance spare parts storeroom including workflows, spares evaluation and metrics to include identifying critical spares, establishing.

Requirements

• Background in heavy manufacturing/quarrying maintenance or similar.
• Maintenance process and workflow analysis for troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Understanding of the types of machinery – Crushers, excavators, loaders, screeners, conveyors etc.
• Time served trade or equivalent qualification, and/or 3rd level related discipline (e.g. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree).
• 6+ years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
