Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Remote Optometry to lead and expand our remote optometry services. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in optometry, capable of driving strategic initiatives, overseeing operations, and enhancing customer experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced technology, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver superior vision care solutions. Key Responsibilities: ● Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for remote optometry services, aligning with company goals and market demands. ● Clinical Oversight: Oversee the clinical aspects of remote optometry, including the development and implementation of best practices for virtual eye exams, diagnostics, and treatment. ● Technology Integration: Collaborate with technology teams to integrate and optimize telehealth platforms and tools, ensuring they meet clinical standards and enhance patient experience. ● Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all remote optometry practices comply with relevant regulations, standards, and licensing requirements. Stay updated on industry changes and adapt practices accordingly. ● Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of remote optometrists and support staff. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. ● Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of remote optometry services, implementing improvements as needed to maintain high standards of care. ● Customer Experience: Enhance customer engagement and satisfaction by developing patient-centric protocols and addressing concerns related to remote care. ● Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to assess performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve service delivery. Qualifications : ● Bachelor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution ● Proven experience in a leadership role within optometry or telehealth, with a strong understanding of remote care practices. ● Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for remote healthcare. ● Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team. ● Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
