Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity As part of our Portfolio and Programme Office, the Portfolio Delivery Support team enables P3M best practice, Portfolio Controls and Performance and Insights across all Te Toki Transport Services with a focus on:

• Delivery of Roads of National (and Regional) Significance.
• Our new Integrated Delivery Model.
• A modern controls and governance environment.
• A disciplined Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3M) approach.
• Support and strengthen the Portfolio and Programme Office offering to Te Toki Transport Services.

We are looking for a special kind of person who is curious, deliberate, and determined to achieve exceptional outcomes, to join our team as Lead Advisor. The successful candidate will be comfortable with working in the grey, influencing P3M across the business and leading integrated ways of working. You will collaborate closely with the Manager Portfolio Delivery Support and alongside our Team Leads and regional teams to provide thought-leadership and expert support as part of our Portfolio and Programme Office. The role is dynamic and supports a lift in our wider level of ambition and capability to furnish decision makers with timely and trusted information, giving them confidence in the development and delivery of our significant work programme. Do you have what it takes? Ko koe tēnei | About you Ideally you will have the following knowledge and experience:

• A strong ambition for continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
• Experience designing and implementing best practice Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3M) approaches within a large and complex organisation, ideally within the infrastructure sector.
• Deep expert knowledge of Portfolio and/or Programme management frameworks and approaches, e.g. MoP, MSP, and infrastructure delivery lifecycles.
• Extensive experience developing and influencing change within complex programmes.
• Proven experience in building relationships and enabling a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Extensive understanding of the machinery of government and/or understanding of transport sector investment decision-making processes.
• A fierce solutions-focus and outcomes approach.
• A strong blend of strategic thinking and tactical delivery.
• The ability to communicate (written, graphical and verbal) to a wide range of audiences, across multiple platforms.
