Lead Advisor - Portfolio Delivery Support at New Zealand Transport Agency, Wellington
- Play your part in helping to deliver New Zealand's key transport infrastructure projects.
- Provide thought-leadership and expert support for our ambitious Portfolio Office.
- Drive system-wide improvement under our P3M delivery approach.
- Permanent position - based in Wellington or Auckland (other regions considered for strong candidates).
- Delivery of Roads of National (and Regional) Significance.
- Our new Integrated Delivery Model.
- A modern controls and governance environment.
- A disciplined Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3M) approach.
- Support and strengthen the Portfolio and Programme Office offering to Te Toki Transport Services.
- A strong ambition for continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
- Experience designing and implementing best practice Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3M) approaches within a large and complex organisation, ideally within the infrastructure sector.
- Deep expert knowledge of Portfolio and/or Programme management frameworks and approaches, e.g. MoP, MSP, and infrastructure delivery lifecycles.
- Extensive experience developing and influencing change within complex programmes.
- Proven experience in building relationships and enabling a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Extensive understanding of the machinery of government and/or understanding of transport sector investment decision-making processes.
- A fierce solutions-focus and outcomes approach.
- A strong blend of strategic thinking and tactical delivery.
- The ability to communicate (written, graphical and verbal) to a wide range of audiences, across multiple platforms.
