Whitcoulls is an iconic New Zealand brand with a long history of selling an exciting range of products from books and stationery to gifts, toys, and games. The Role We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for leading and motivating store teams and driving performance in 13 stores across Auckland, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty. You will be an experienced regional or multisite retail manager with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results. You will be happy to be hands-on, capable of managing all aspects of store operations, and be passionate about driving sales through the delivery of excellent customer experiences. Core Responsibilities- Drive sales growth and support stores in achieving KPI's.
- Regularly visit all stores to work with the teams, review performance, and identify opportunities.
- Build high performing customer-focused teams.
- Oversee the store merchandising standards, ensuring national campaigns are accurately implemented and an exceptional customer shopping experience is delivered.
- Lead the daily operations of the stores in your region to achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the wider regional management team to deliver continuous improvement.
- Experience in a similar regional or multi-site management role.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the proven ability to develop and motivate retail teams.
- A proven track record of being able to drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience in successfully leading store operations delivering operational excellence across all business areas.
- Strong relationship management and the skills to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
