Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support our design team in delivering exceptional residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design Support: Assist lead designers in developing design concepts, selecting materials and fixtures, and creating presentations for clients.
- Project Coordination: Help manage project timelines, budgets, and procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, take detailed notes, and assist in translating client needs into design solutions.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design books, CAD drawings, and specifications.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with vendors, coordinate orders, track deliveries, and ensure quality control of purchased items.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing the design library.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in interior design or a related role preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
