Database Administrator Location: Pune / Bengaluru Experience: 5 to 8 Years T-Systems is looking for a highly motivated Database Administrator who will be working in a cross-functional and international team within an innovative and agile environment. Required skills:
- Strong experience in managing SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, and Cassandra in a clustered deployment.
- Strong experience in monitoring performance aspects of databases and doing fine-tuning of configuration for optimum performance.
- Strong experience in query optimization to provide guidance to developers.
- Understanding on database deployments in Kubernetes environments, especially using Kubernetes operators.
- Comfortable in Linux based operating systems.
- Good experience in scripting languages like shell script, py thon
- Good communication skills with usage of remote technologies e.g. chat, telepresence, Webex
- Teamwork, open-minded, empathy, adaptability and accountability are highly welcome
- Big-picture thinking
- Positive attitude to work in multi-cultural environment
- Willingness to learn
- Critical thinking to have ability to look at the results from different angle.
