About Your New Employer Our client is a well-renowned International Insurance Company. They specialize in car, home, business, and farm Insurance products, and are seeking an experienced solicitor to provide expert advice and representation on litigation matters. About Your New Job Joining an established team as the Litigation Solicitor, you will be expected to act on behalf of the company or the company’s policyholders in litigated claims. Additionally, the position requires providing the Company with comprehensive and strategic legal advice to effectively navigate legal matters and ensure the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders involved in the process. What you will be doing

1. Deliver independent advice to and take instructions from the Company in the management of Motor/ EL/PL litigated files.
2. Run, without supervision, Circuit, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court actions.
3. Settle claims based on agreed targets and efficiently manage a caseload of files while giving strategic advice.
4. Work closely with Senior and Junior Counsel, convey instructions to them effectively, and coordinate pre-trial defence conferences.
5. Stay updated on all relevant new developments in legislation and case law and advise relevant stakeholders.

1. A qualified litigation solicitor, with relevant insurance defence experience.
2. A career of over 7 years PQE with relevant insurance defence experience.
3. Minimum third level honours degree and solicitor entered on the role of Solicitors in the Republic of Ireland.
4. In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, practice notes, and Rules of Court, District, Circuit, High Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court.
