About the Job: I-PAC, a major player in the political consulting domain, is looking for a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Docker to play a crucial role in managing and scaling our containerized applications. This position requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices and the ability to work collaboratively with development and operations teams to build robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. Job Responsibilities: ● CI/CD Pipelines: Create, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve deployment efficiency. ● Docker Expertise: Develop, maintain, and optimize Docker containers and images to streamline application deployment and ensure consistency across different environments. ● Kubernetes Management: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for production environments. ● Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible to automate and streamline infrastructure provisioning. ● Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring the health and performance of applications. ● Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions that support their needs. ● Security: Apply security best practices to containerized environments, including vulnerability scanning, access controls, and compliance checks. ● Trouble shooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to containerized applications, deployments, and infrastructure performance. ● Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, processes, and systems to support team knowledge and operational efficiency MinimumQualifications: ● Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering with a strong focus on Docker. ● Docker Proficiency: Extensive experience with Docker containerization, including creating, managing, and optimizing Docker images and containers. ● Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their respective services. ● Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy. ● CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. ● Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar. ● Security Practices: Understanding of security best practices for containerized environments. ● Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. ● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. ● Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from premier institutes (preferably in computer science). Preferred Qualifications: ● Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Docker Certified Associate (DCA), or similar. ● Kubernetes Expertise: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, deployment strategies, and management. Experience with advanced Kubernetes features, including custom resource definitions (CRDs), operators, and service meshes. ● Database Management: Knowledge of integrating and managing databases within containerized environments
