Key Responsibilities
- Project Design & Development: Lead the design and development of innovative sustainable process solutions for water wastewater and biosolids treatment systems.
- Process Optimization: Assess and optimize existing treatment processes to improve efficiency reliability and environmental compliance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee process design quality documentation and adherence to project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to define project objectives address technical queries present solutions and support business development activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet relevant industry standards environmental regulations and client specifications.
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Environmental or Civil Engineering (Masters preferred); ECSA certification required.
- Minimum 5 years experience in water wastewater or biosolids process engineering within consulting or contracting firms.
- Indepth expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes including advanced biological chemical and physical methods.
- Strong knowledge of biosolids and sludge treatment including anaerobic digestion composting and advanced dewatering processes.
- Thorough understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in process modeling software and standard engineering tools.
- Excellent analytical project management communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in mid to largescale projects multidisciplinary collaboration and team leadership.
- Commitment to integrating sustainability practices in design projects.
