Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job details
The primary role within this busy and expanding team is to undertake invasive reviews of various infrastructure aspects of projects. This would involve utility networks, utility building requirements, engineering design packages including drawings, specifications, and other forms of documentation prepared by the client design consultants. Projects include a wide range from high-end residential, commercial, hospitality; low-rise to high-rise structures, mixed-use and ranging in scale from large to mega scale developments. Language Proficiency: English - Fluent / Excellent Arabic - Very Good

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:- Technical understanding in all aspects of design including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards that relate to infrastructure engineering and utility design systems, including but not limited to:
- Roads & Transportation
- Potable Water Transmission
- Fire Water Distribution Systems
- Irrigation Systems
- Storm Water Drainage Systems
- Foul Sewerage Systems
- Solid Waste Systems
- District Cooling Systems
- Sewerage Treatment Plant Systems
- Strong people skills essential in communicating directly with clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, the design review team, and other KEO staff.
- Good time management and organizational skills required to effectively manage multiple projects across multiple countries and ensure each design review is carried out within the required time constraints and meets the expected quality of output.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of local building codes in various countries, International Building Codes, LEED requirements, and other similar sustainability standards.
- A good knowledge of local materials, building techniques, and the environmental conditions in the Middle East.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree with a Masters of Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree or equivalent being a strong advantage.
- Professional registration with a recognized Mechanical or Civil Engineers Society.
- Fluent English, knowledge of Arabic an advantage.
- LEED Accreditation or other sustainability recognized standard would also be advantageous.
