Job details

1. Operating Systems:

  1. Proficiency in Windows (10, 11) and macOS.
  2. Mobile OS (iOS and Android).
  3. Patching and upgrading OS using tools.
2. Hardware Knowledge:
  1. Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobiles, and other peripherals.
  2. Basic understanding of hardware replacement and upgrades.
3. Networking Basics:
  1. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  2. Setting up and configuring network devices (e.g., routers, access points).
4. Software Troubleshooting:
  1. Identifying and resolving software compatibility issues.
  2. Troubleshooting Office 365 applications like Outlook issues.
5. Remote Support Tools:
  1. Experience with tools like Quick Assist, Manage Engine products, MDT, SCCM, or Microsoft Remote Desktop.
6. IT Security:
  1. Basic knowledge of antivirus tools, firewalls, and security best practices.
  2. Awareness of endpoint protection tools like Kaspersky or Intune.
7. Active Directory & User Management:
  1. Creating, updating, and managing user accounts.
  2. Understanding of group policies and permission settings.
  3. Understanding of a Domain network.
  4. Understanding of DHCP.
8. ITIL Foundations:
  1. Basic understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
  2. Managing devices through tools like Intune, SOTI, AirWatch, or any other platforms.
9. Backup and Recovery:
  1. Knowledge of backup tools and restoring data for end users (iPhone, Laptop, Desktop, Mac OS).
  2. Data recovery from encrypted devices.
  3. Replace laptop and mobile with data transfer.
Certifications and Tools:
  1. Ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Symphony, or ManageEngine Service Desk Plus.
  2. Familiarity with asset management tools.
Additional Skills (Advantageous):
  1. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  2. Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, VB, or Python).
