Senior Environment EngineerWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environment Engineer to join our team at QatarEnergy Head Quarters in Doha. As a key member of the HSE Team, you will play a critical role in supporting our offshore Asset.Primary Purpose of JobThe primary purpose of this job is to ensure compliance and implementation of environmental management policies, including consent to operate (CTO), environmental parameters, studies, and monitoring related to environmental performance and management.This includes tracking and reviewing environmental management-related data, including air emission, environmental air quality, waste management, water-related monitoring, Green House Gas, and flora and fauna in regards to asset operations.You will participate in strategic planning activities for environmental issues and develop fit-for-purpose environmental compliance programs.The Sr. Environmental Engineer is responsible for supporting the Head of Environmental and Regulatory Affairs in relation to environmental management for the asset. You will participate in activities relating to environmental issues resulting in continuous measurable improvement and implementation of fit-for-purpose environmental compliance programs.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with environmental laws and regulationsDevelop and implement environmental management plansMonitor and review environmental performance metricsParticipate in strategic planning activities for environmental issuesDevelop fit-for-purpose environmental compliance programsRequirements15+ years of total experience with 5+ years as E/HSE supervisory position or consultant/auditor/tutor internally or working for a consultancy/audit firmBroad knowledge of HSE laws and regulationsBroad knowledge of Environmental aspects within offshore Oil and GasBroad Knowledge of MS StandardsExcellent written and spoken EnglishExcellent presentation skills with multi-discipline backgroundAbility to multi-task and work independentlyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsEducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environment or SciencePost Graduate Degree in Environment is a PlusEstimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
