Job Purpose To ensure Packaging Lab processes are implemented including sampling and testing, material complaints handling (TPI), new material development with team and ensure its effective In -place and In-use that are aligned with GSK and Regulatory specifications around and bring improvement to make the processes more robust. Education, Experience & Skills

• B-Pharm/Pharm-D
• Must have an experience of at least 3-5 years on the same (or equivalent) position
• Computer literacy, minimum to access and utilize emails for official correspondence
• Must have understanding on Pakistan Drug law/Labelling rules.
• Use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at least to a moderate level
• Good communication and presentation skills

Key Responsibilities Packaging Material Disposition

• To review Packaging Materials GRs/incoming materials and manage final disposition on time.
• To ensure packaging material/components sampling and testing to meet the lead time.
• To ensure compliance of the specification and standards with QMS and ensure the Quality of packaging material as per GSK and local regulatory standards.
• To prepare the change control, drawing and specifications for new development or change in packaging materials initiated by site.
• To manage the activities assigned from time to time for the development of products related to packaging materials.
• Preparation of monthly report of the section, Vendor complaints & rejection data for supply review meetings.

TPI:

• To ensure and investigate on site for vendor complaints related to packaging materials.
• To monitor and track the timely closing of the complaints.
• To conduct the meeting with Supplier's for on-line complaint and critical rejections in order to facilitate the supplier in CAPA so to avoid recurrence in future supplies.
• Handling and reporting on-line complaints of packaging material, Complete investigations and RCA against the complaints received, Review effective CAPA implementation and its compliance against the complaints.

Others:

• Participate Management Monitoring/audits to ensure compliance and ensure level one audits are managed per GQMP/GQPs at Operational Quality.
• Participate in QMS gap analysis of packaging material procedures.
• Preparation/Review of specifications/test methods, SOP's of packaging material to ensure compliance.
• Participate in Pack Management and Artwork projects and initiatives in alignment with GPS.
• To manage calibration, EHS, artwork control, change control & documentation related activities, to ensure compliance.
• Manage and update the Record Retention as department representative.
• Role of department trainings representative.
