Requisition ID986 -Posted -Head Office KHI Purpose of the Job: This role is responsible for leading, managing, and supervising the Sales & Cycle Planning, Distribution Strategy & Sales Capability, and Trade Engagement work streams. It ensures the alignment of organizational goals, enhances cross-functional collaboration, and drives operational and commercial excellence. Job Description:- Provide vision and directions to the Sales and Cycle Planning Manager, Trade Engagement Manager, Distribution Strategy & Sales Capability Manager, and Regional Trade Marketing Manager.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture among direct reports and their teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, sales effectiveness, and market engagement.
- Ensure alignment of departmental objectives with overall organizational goals.
- Act as a liaison between cross functional internal stake holders and senior leadership, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Manage and supervise the budget for sales functions, ensuring efficient utilization of resources with close collaboration with commercial finance business partners.
- Stay updated on industry's best practices and competitor strategies and align functional strategy & execution in line with evolving landscape.
- Guide the Manager Sales and Cycle Planning in developing accurate sales forecasts and sales cycle plans.
- Analyze business performance metrics and ensure optimal collaboration between sales, supply chain, and finance.
- Identify opportunities to improve the planning & execution of commercial activities for enhancing speed to market with effectiveness.
- Lead and collaborate with regional team to optimize route to market strategies for efficient and effective product distribution with optimal business partner engagement.
- Drive the adoption of modern sales tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for sales capability development and ensure appropriate capability enhancement programs are designed and executed.
- Devise and oversee an annual sales development program focused on improving team capabilities, including leading and co-creating in house training programs.
- Develop, co-create & monitor trade marketing plans, and identify opportunities for brand visibility, trader engagement and product placement with regional business units.
- Lead the Trade Engagement Manager in driving merchandising operations and implementing trade visibility strategies with close co-ordination with brand teams for consistent and superior consumer experience.
- Guide and collaborate with the Regional Trade Marketing Managers to develop and execute regional trade marketing strategies.
- Evaluate trade programs to ensure high-quality execution at both national and regional levels.
- Integrate relevant benchmarks into internal programs to maintain a competitive edge.
- MBA / Master's / Bachelor's Degree
- Candidates should have at least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably within FMCG category.
