Structural Design Engineer Location: Central London (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: £36,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience) About the Role: Are you a driven structural engineer ready to take the next step in your career? What You’ll Do: You will gain hands-on experience in building structures design, with direct mentorship and training from our senior management team. This role offers a unique chance to advance your career to a senior level, with clear pathways to chartership and a diverse range of projects to broaden your expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- Create structural calculations and specifications
- Conduct technical reviews of drawings and junior engineers' designs
- Prepare tender and contract documents
- Participate in coordination, design team, and site meetings
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Utilize software such as Robot, Masterseries, Etabs, Tedds, and CSC Fastrac Building Designer
- Degree in civil or structural engineering
- Experience in producing structural calculations and design
- Strong understanding of design software and analysis tools
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for sustainable design and innovative project delivery
