What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Inbound at Birdeye, you’ll work closely with our SDR leader, paving the way for your advancement to Account Executive or Senior SDR within 6-12 months. You’ll be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment designed to foster your growth and success. Key responsibilities include:
- Respond promptly to inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and other channels.
- Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, pain points, and potential fit for Birdeye’s products and services.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects through effective communication and follow-up strategies.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, ensuring a smooth handover to sales executives for the next steps.
- Actively engage in consultative selling, identifying opportunities to add value to prospects’ businesses.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead conversion rates and share feedback on lead quality.
- Schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in CRM tools such as Salesforce & Salesloft.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings or opportunities created.
- Base Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + Super + Monthly Bonuses (OTE $90k-$100k)

- Must be based in Sydney, Australia.
- At least 1 year of B2B sales or customer-facing experience, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects at all organizational levels.
- Work Ethic: A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus.
- Familiarity with sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or HubSpot is advantageous.
- Coachability: Eager to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced sales environment.
