Senior Urban Planner

We are looking to expand our Planning Team with the appointment of a skilled passionate and highly motivated Senior Planner who is looking to broaden their career and work on new and exciting largescale projects. What will a day could involve:

• Providing support to the Planning Team in servicing internal and external client requirements
• Working alongside other professionals on a range of largescale multidisciplinary projects both locally and interstate. Such work includes:
  • Preparing and managing development applications for largescale developments
  • Assisting with the preparation of Master Plans Strategic Plans and Code Amendments
  • Supporting major transport infrastructure and renewable energy projects
  • Assisting with consultation and engagement with key stakeholders
• Providing timely accurate and professional planning advice on a range of projects
• Ensuring that project scope budgets timeframes and quality outputs are considered within a commercial business environment

• Minimum 5 years experience in Planning
• Holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline
• Proven experience in Strategic and/or Statutory / Land Use Planning ideally in a consulting or government environment and ideally in the South Australian planning system
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills and can engage with a variety of stakeholders
• Is selfmotivated able to prioritise competing demands and time pressures for multiple projects and the commercial aspects of consulting
