Job Description
- Undertake interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”.
- Research and decide on materials and product sourcing.
- Produce “sample” and “mood boards”.
- Create a full package of interior design drawings including materials, furniture layout, and details.
- Participate in creating and developing our technical standards (Details and specifications).
- Create interior design drawings and 3D visualization shots.
- Prepare and develop interior design drawings, shop drawings, and bills of quantities.
- Carry out quantity surveying activities for the projects for BOQs, invoices, and other project management purposes.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders of the project to solve conflicts between (civil, mech, elect. etc.…).
- Review subcontractors’ shop drawings and outsourced shop drawings.
- Prepare as-built drawings for the existing building, and after the completion of the project.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems during execution to reach the proper solution.
- Prepare project handover manual to be submitted to the clients as a reference for maintenance and operating purposes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design.
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
- Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions)
- Good command of the English Language.
- Computer skills:
- MS Office products.
- AutoCAD.
- 3D Max.
- Revit and BIM.
- Project Management software like MS Project or Primavera.
- Virtual Reality is a plus.
- Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for design.
- Problem solver.
