Job details
Job Description: Test IT equipment to ensure functionality and industry compliance. Perform secure data wiping and physical destruction per NIST, DoD, and company protocols. Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues on decommissioned assets. Maintain asset tracking systems and document test results and data destruction. Conduct Quality Control (QC) checks on equipment before shipment. Palletize, wrap, and securely pack IT equipment for safe transport. Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking and handling. Visit client sites to collect, test, and process decommissioned IT assets. Job Requirements: Basic knowledge of IT hardware, including PCs, laptops, servers, and networking devices. Familiarity with data destruction and wiping protocols, such as NIST and DoD standards. Ability to follow technical procedures and documentation for testing, QC, and data sanitization. Capable of troubleshooting and providing basic technical support for IT equipment. Physical ability to handle loading/unloading equipment and safely palletize IT assets. Strong attention to detail, ensuring that equipment is properly tested, wiped, and securely packaged. #J-18808-Ljbffr
