Senior / Medical Laboratory Technologist (Cardiac)

Job Description: The incumbent shall be responsible to: Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation and maintenance of cardiovascular equipment to provide detailed analysis of cardiovascular functions in the laboratory. Perform routine cardiovascular tests, including transthoracic echocardiography, treadmill ECG testing, blood pressure, and Holter monitoring. Assist in performing transesophageal echocardiography. Be competent to perform echocardiogram tests and prepare reports. Perform stress echocardiogram investigations including treadmill stress echo, dobutamine stress echo, and transesophageal echocardiography tests. Assist with interventional imaging systems, such as IVUS, FFE, IABP, and OCT. Assist interventionists in the cardiovascular laboratory and record procedures in the cardiac reporting system. Job Requirements: Degree in Biomedical Science (preferably with specialization in cardiac technology) & minimum 2 years relevant experience. Those with a Diploma in Biomedical Science (preferably with specialization in cardiac technology) and/or with relevant experience may be considered for a junior position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
