Office Hours, Gov Hospital - Audiologist Needed @Central #HJA JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the ENT and Audiology team lead, you will work with adults and the elderly who have hearing loss and other auditory-related disorders. Audiologist's job scope includes, but is not limited to: Performing Audiology diagnostic assessments Providing rehabilitative therapy for hearing disorders Promoting education and preventive care MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical duties and competencies: Perform clinical duties related to Audiology services. Prescribe and administer Audiological tests, coordinating test results with other medical, educational, social, and behavioral data to differentiate hearing dysfunction from other conditions with similar symptomatology. Conduct rehabilitative programs for the hearing handicapped, including counseling and guidance for the hearing impaired and their families, prescription, evaluation, and fitting of hearing aids, and auditory training. Work within a multidisciplinary team comprising Otologists, Audiologists, and other medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and stakeholders to provide coordinated audiology services. Provide preventive services and consultation in a community clinic setting. Administrative and organisational responsibilities: Assist with administrative duties, such as documentation of department statistics. JOB REQUIREMENTS Tertiary qualification in Audiology. 2 years of experience is preferred. Proficient in computer skills and MS Office. Good problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
