Using your Civil Engineering expertise you will be instrumental in driving the future leading the delivery and design of essential water and wastewater upgrades and new facilities as a key delivery partner on NI Water and Uisce ireanns frameworks. Heres what youll do:
- Oversee: Manage the delivery of complex tasks and projects ensuring budget adherence and technical excellence. Lead the technical delivery on multiple projects reviewing work produced by others to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Provide Expertise: Offer technical knowledge and expertise to the design team at all stages including feasibility studies outline design detailed designs and preparing technical specifications.
- Ensure Quality: Ensure design compliance with all applicable standards and regulations providing technical expertise for interdisciplinary analytical studies.
- Collaborate: Work closely with clients to develop scope price proposals and communicate project progress. Collaborate with our Project Managers and Lead Design Engineers to solve problems and deliver benefits to the communities we serve.
- Develop: Support the development of junior team members and undertake line management responsibilities.
- Proven experience within the water sector at the Principal level ideally within the UK&I or with a good appreciation of UK&I norms and standards.
- Experience in designing and managing the technical delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and noninfrastructure upgrade schemes from feasibility and outline design to detailed design and construction support.
- Chartered or Incorporated with a relevant institution e.g. ICE Engineers Ireland working towards it.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
