Radiator Service Technician
Job Description:- Repair services cooling down systems and gas storage tanks in vehicles, buses, trucks, and other automobile vehicles.
- Pumps water or compressed air through radiator to check for blockages or leaks.
- Purges radiator with cleaning substance to eliminate obstructions, such as corrosion or mineral deposits.
- Removes radiator core from vehicle and cleans it, using rods or boiling water as well as solvent, or a combination of boil out and rod out.
- Solders leaks in core or tanks, utilizing welding torch or acetylene torch.
- Repairs all types and sizes of radiators including aluminum and plastic.
- Repairs, removes, and/or changes radiators, heaters, and all types of heating system cores.
- Operates and cleans radiator cleaning tanks utilizing caustic chemicals.
