Job Purpose / Objective:Coordinate and ensure that all functions of the Admission Office are carried out efficiently, smoothly, and effectively.Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:Receive Patients for Admission from Out-Patient Clinics, Emergency Room, and patients referred from other facilities after acceptance/other HMG facility.Admit patients according to the approved Policies and Procedures only.Check the availability of the room as per the patients/family/relatives request and affordability and allocate the suitable room.Ensure all documentations are provided by the patient's attendants and should not accept any admission without any Identification Card as mentioned such as a copy of the National ID for all the Saudi Patients and Iqama copy for all the expatriates. For all IVF, Obstetrics, and Gynecology patients a copy of the family card or Marriage Certificate must be submitted as per the MOH rules and regulations.Check all the details of the patient on admission (Patient ID, Insurance Company, etc.) and inform the Charge Nurse/Head Nurse about the admission of the patient immediately, also should ask to keep the room/bed ready immediately.Check the approval and expiry date of approval/insurance card on the system for all the company/insurance patients.Issue "Sick Leave Report" as per the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Health and issue "Birth Certificates" for all the delivered babies, having delivery within HMG facility.Responsible for registration and admission for newborn babies in our facility.Handle Internal Transfer of Patient (Doctor to Doctor or Room to Room, etc.).Issue the invoices for all transactions after receiving the amount from the patient/family/relative for admission.Follow the dress and decorum of the HMG and actively participate in the Quality Improvement and educational activities of the department.Implement appropriate approved policies and procedures to achieve the hospital's goals objectives in pursuit of standard of Care, Quality performance improvement.Handover all the cash collected in each shift to the assigned staff.Train and orient new staff.Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.Education/ Professional Qualification:Educational: Diploma holder or College GraduateExperience:At least 4 years' experience in the same fieldProfessional Licensing / Certification / Training:N/ASkills:Process managementPatient servicingData management & record keepingCompliance to online incident reporting system
