Established in 1995, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council is a statutory body set up by the Government to support the broad development of the arts in Hong Kong. Its major roles include grant allocation, policy and planning, advocacy, promotion and development, and programme planning. Responsibilities :
- To assist in the records management process, including cataloguing and digitization;
- To assist in building the AIC database and collections, including but not limited to conduct desktop research on arts events for archival purposes;
- To assist the daily operation and administration of the AIC, be available to work on Saturdays;
- To perform such other duties as may be assigned by the departmental supervisor(s).
- Knowledge and interest in arts/ library information/ archival/information management would be an advantage;
- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, meticulous and well organized;
- Available to work on Saturday and occasionally on Sunday, flexible hours on weekdays;
- Proficiency in PC operations (MS based applications, particularly MS Excel and Chinese Word Processing);
- Currently studying or graduated from a higher diploma/ associate degree or bachelor's degree program are also considered;
- Contract is renewable.
