Lead our brand new Early Years Place in Maryborough, driving a dedicated team to maximise their impact on the lives of children and families. A place to make a difference: In this full time, permanent role, you’ll play a vital leadership role in our newly established Early Years Place. With programs delivered flexibly in the community, your role will focus on leading and developing our dedicated team. Reporting to our Regional Manager, you’ll be based in Maryborough. You will make a difference by:
- Leading and developing a passionate team, including providing their professional supervision
- Proactively building connections with local services providers including primary, child and allied health, early childhood education and development programs, schools and other specialist supports.
- Advocating for families through local networks and engagement with government agencies
- Overseeing daily operations within the Early Years Place and ensuring that practice, compliance and child safeguarding standards are met
- Ensuring compliance with service agreements, policies and procedures, and compiling relevant data to acquit reporting requirements
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading high-performing teams with a focus on performance, learning and team development
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate programming
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in the early years space
- Experience in building and maintaining key relationships with other service providers
- Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood or another relevant field, or significant relevant experience
