Overview This internship is available through Readygrad's Profession Internship Program, which includes a fee of $2,500 (incl. GST) payable in 6 equal instalments ($417 each) and includes:

- Develop technical security solutions for issues in development and testing.
- Prepare for and participate in project engineering reviews.
- Contribute to designs and definitions of security solution components.
- Work with the engineering team on solutions and alignment with existing and pipeline security solutions.
- Engage with various security technology vendors, conduct technical assessments, and provide recommendations to customers.
- Operate within an Agile construct to develop continuously evolving solutions for customers.
- Experience in developing with Java, JavaScript and other languages
- Knowledge and understanding of cyber security principles, theories and concepts.
- An understanding of both SOAP and REST-based methodologies
- Expertise in security testing of applications and systems
- Adept at supporting the design and development of secure systems, applications, or networks
- Able to learn new security technologies and concepts and incorporate them into solution design
- Able to assist with the delivery of web-based security designs for external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or related field
- Exposure to implementing security controls and mitigating security risks
- Some knowledge of industry standards and government regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
