Were seeking a highly motivated Microsoft Business Development Manager to join our Microsoft Partner Solutions team and play a key role in our continued success driving new business and key account management. In this strategic role youll wear many hats. Youll be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with a portfolio of key Microsoft partners. This involves understanding their unique needs and challenges and then developing and executing growthoriented account plans that are mutually beneficial. Your deep industry expertise will be crucial in identifying new opportunities and crafting winning sales strategies. But your reach extends beyond sales youll also be involved in crafting marketing initiatives managing external communications and overseeing channel management efforts. Ultimately your goal is to drive sustainable growth across all facets of the partnership. The purpose of this role is to drive and support sustainable sales growth across existing and new business with the following responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify the pipeline of existing customers and prospects at sufficient volume as to maintain the required conversion rate to achieve the revenue targets each FY
- Utilise existing relationships in market with customers and Microsoft to generate net new prospects
- Ensure sales pipeline data up to date and accurateContribute to company strategy to reach FY sales targets
- Support other Account Managers and Business Development Managers in identifying progressing and closing Microsoft related opportunities
- Manage and complete the production of sales proposals and tenders
- Work with subject matter experts to create solutions
- Manage and agree commercials and final versions of proposals with DS&M
- Develop and maintain strong relationships to grow a pipeline of potential clients
- Possess a proven track record as a sales executive with a focus on pipeline and business development
- Experience building sustainable channel partnerships
- Experience selling Microsoft professional services
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with Microsoft Account Managers and solution specialists
- Highly proficient understanding of business sales process marketing process and communication strategy
- Demonstrated ability defining and driving targeted marketing campaigns
- Strong network of industry connections
- Selfmotivated committed and passionate individual who can take responsibility and win
- Confident negotiator and able to work at a fast pace
