- Multidisciplinary teams servicing a vast geographical service delivery area with a diverse patient population.
- No two days are ever the same here, and with our service operating on a 24 / 7 basis with on-call rostering.
- Working alongside our Anaesthetists, as well as Doctors and Nurses, you’ll assist with surgeries, and the odd bit of Operating Theatre set up.
- You may even help administer blood pressure and other medications on occasion too.
- Working on a rotating roster basis, you’ll find shifts are usually around 8-10 hours, so along with a stable full-time work structure you’ll have plenty of room to get out and do life.

- Hold registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
