Intern - ESG and Sustainability No. of Positions available: 3 Remuneration: Stipend of 20,000 INR/Month (performance-based review after 3 months) Location: Bangalore, India (Preferred) / Remote / Hybrid Duration: 3-6 months About SL2: Sustainable Living Lab (SL2) is a sustainability consultancy and innovation lab founded in Singapore in 2011. We specialise in creating and implementing rapidly evolving, impactful solutions. Our expertise lies in leveraging technology as a tool for sustainability, with a strong emphasis on a community-driven approach to implementation. Our practical yet ambitious approach has helped us build a client base across governments, international development organisations, leading multinational corporations (MNCs), and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). About the Team: This internship offers the opportunity to work on projects for the corporate sustainability teams in India and Singapore. You will have the chance to collaborate with a global team and engage in Asia-centric projects, in the field of climate change, climate adaptation and sustainability. About the Role: You will be working on assisting the team with projects focused on ESG report writing, sustainability and climate based content development, and research assistance. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting ESG report writing and content development for training programs.
- Writing and editing high-quality content such as whitepapers, articles, case studies, and other materials related to ESG, climate, and sustainability topics.
- Collecting, analysing, and drawing insights from corporate survey data, global trends, latest news and sustainability reports.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and IFRS.
- A working understanding of sustainability and climate-related issues in both a local and global context.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent time management (able to handle multiple clients/projects simultaneously).
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse challenges and devise practical solutions.
- Proficiency in Google Suite online tools. (docs, sheets, slides etc)
- Ability and willingness to adapt to ambiguous contexts for a wide range of projects.
