Location: Hyderabad / No Remote Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual and Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, a meticulous eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional software products. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications by designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with both junior and senior team members, providing mentorship to junior engineers and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance team performance. Required Skills:
- QA Testing experience along with hands-on expertise in test automation architecture, framework design & development, and scripting
- Experience in Selenium Web driver, Selenium RC, Selenium Grid using Java, Selenium with Cucumber BDD Framework
- Ability to write, debug and run the Automation scripts on their own based on the given requirements
- Knowledge implementing DevOps Oriented Automation Frameworks using OpenStack tools like Java, Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Maven & TestNG
- Knowledge of hosting for software development and version control using Git
- Experience in MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL
- Experience in API testing using REST Assured
- REST API Automation experience, TDD & BDD framework
- Experience in Agile Application Development concepts
- Experience and Strong understanding of Sprints/Agile and track in Kanban/Scrum as needed.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and the role of QA in every stage
- Planning and coordinating test activities, hands-on experience in converting user stories/use cases into test cases covering all scenarios
- Knowledge of any Test Management tools like JIRA Xray, Jira QMetry &, etc.
- Testing techniques include functional, regression, sanity/smoke, batch, and system testing
- Expected to know QA best practices. CI/CD concepts etc.
- Understanding of Performance testing concepts
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills
- Collaborative decision-making and good judgment Strong time, interpersonal, and people skills
- Experience with client-server environments.
- Telecom Domain Knowledge
- Order Management and CRM Applications Knowledge
- eCommerce – Online Ordering Knowledge
- Cross-Browser and Mobile Device testing knowledge
- Knowledge of UI development and content management system tools like Craft CMS, React, Sitecore and etc.
