About the job ERP BUSINESS ANALYST

DUTIES
  1. Evaluate ERP business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  2. Analysis of business requirements to drive design and review of test cases, process charges requests, and manage a project's scope, acceptance, installation, and development.
  3. Prepare formal functional and/or technical specification, including process workflow of system requirement.
  4. Align business requirements with ERP Best Practice.
  5. Enable data migration from legacy system to ERP.
  6. Assist users in changeover to ERP.
  7. Assist with module configuration.
  8. Implementation of policy and procedural changes within business relevant to module.
  9. Define, execute and approve simulation testing.
  10. Design, develop and provision of training solutions.
  11. Train Users in existing and new processes.
  12. Roll out of solution to business within agreed timeframes.
  13. Manage competing resources and priorities.
  14. Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
  15. Support to Business (Users) during project, after go-live and for ad hoc requirements.
  16. Ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  17. Prepare and submit accurate reports, in the agreed format, on time.
  18. Ensure compliance with standard operating policies and procedures (including quality controls).
SKILLS:
  1. Application Systems development.
  2. Presentation of SAP PP Software.
  3. Project Management.
  4. Report Writing.
  5. SAP PP Background.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to interact with team members (collaboration).
  8. Excellent communicating skills across all levels.
  9. Good verbal presentation and written expression.
  10. Solid understanding of Application systems development.
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  2. SAP PP ERP Module certification.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant ERP Module SAP PP.
  4. Computer skills & knowledge - Microsoft Office, Excel, Word & Power Point.
  5. Proven Experience in business process evaluation, procedural definition, configuration, and application systems development.
  6. Experience as a project team member (could be on business side) on a full lifecycle ERP implementation for SAP.
  7. Must have a valid driver's license and Passport.
  8. Must be prepared to work after hours and weekends if required.
  9. Understanding of SAP PP module principles, controls, and business processes.
  10. Ability to create queries to extract information from data sources (inc. ERP / SAP query).
  11. Must be able to work overtime and travel (local and international) when required.
  12. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  13. Ability to interact with other internal team members.
