Branch Supervisor / Future Branch Manager
Our Retail and Customer Service industry client is looking for a dynamic Branch Supervisor and/or future Branch Manager for a national retail/products company (technical/engineering/electrical/building construction décor and accessories material). Huge growth opportunity reporting to the Coastal Regional Manager. Salary: Basic up to R 30 000 plus incentives on sales targets and provident fund. Qualifications / Requirements:- Matric and/or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices, including inventory management and customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Supervise a small branch - Act as Branch Manager (future Branch Manager potential).
- Lead a team of 8 staff in the branch reporting to the Regional Manager.
- Oversee the daily operations of the branch in Cape Town.
- Manage and supervise all branch staff, including training and performance management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed branch revenue goals and targets.
- Provide guidance and support to branch employees to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor branch performance metrics, such as sales volume, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, and take corrective action as needed.
- Oversee inventory management and control procedures to minimize shrinkage and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to support overall business objectives.
