IT Engineer

Your Role: Understand business operations and security requirements, and implement IT infrastructure and cloud solutions including IT security with best practices. Support networking and server operational levels including IT virtualization, storage and backup solutions, as well as IT security (e.g. cybersecurity), MFA, business continuity, disaster recovery, and information risk management. Manage IT endpoint security operations to ensure a high level of reliability, security, maintainability, and resiliency. Plan, schedule, execute, and monitor IT project(s) as assigned. Assist with the department’s annual audits and budget planning. Assist in updating and maintaining IT risk assessments, IT policies, IT processes, and hardening guides as part of library documentation. Manage vendor service on preventive maintenance and service support within the stipulated timeline. Monitor existing IT services to ensure timely service or renewal. Assist with end-user requests in areas of IT aspects. What You Bring: Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related and equivalent qualification. Year(s) of Experience: At least 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure support including cloud computing technologies such as Azure, AWS platform, and IT project management. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in networking protocols, routing, switches, including troubleshooting network-level issues. Language(s): Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with English or Mandarin-speaking associates. Required Knowledge/Skill(s): IT Security management, IT Infrastructure and Cloud computing services and compliance, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, VMware, Google Workspace.
