Job Highlights: Schedule: 20 hours per week (Thursday through Monday, 10 AM to 2 PM Eastern Time) Client Overview Join an innovative, Singapore-based property management company as they expand into the exciting US short-term rental market. This forward-thinking organization is launching its first self-managed Airbnb property and seeks a talented individual to play a crucial role in its success. With a portfolio of long-term rentals already established, the company is poised for growth in the dynamic short-term rental sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the company’s operations and contribute to its expansion in a thriving industry. Responsibilities Elevate the property’s online presence by regularly optimizing Airbnb listings, including crafting compelling titles and selecting eye-catching photos. Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, managing communications and ensuring exceptional customer service across different time zones. Orchestrate seamless guest experiences by coordinating with cleaning staff, maintenance personnel, and other service providers. Oversee financial aspects of the property, including bookkeeping, tracking income and expenses, and reconciling bookings. Leverage cutting-edge property management software to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Implement and manage automated guest communication systems to improve responsiveness and guest satisfaction. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to property owners for continuous improvement of the rental’s performance. Assist with monthly financial reporting for the company’s long-term rental properties, showcasing your versatility. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to ensure smooth operations and positive guest experiences. Requirements Proven track record of 2-3 years in short-term rental property management, demonstrating your expertise in this dynamic field. Proficiency in industry-leading property management software such as OwnerRez or Hospitable, showcasing your technical savvy. Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring top-notch guest interactions and meticulous property management. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset, allowing you to anticipate and address challenges effectively. Demonstrated experience in optimizing listings and managing guest communications on platforms like Airbnb. Ability to work US Eastern Time hours (10 AM to 2 PM EST, Thursday through Monday), aligning with peak guest activity periods. Basic financial acumen for bookkeeping and data entry tasks. Adaptability to work across different time zones and cultures, bridging the gap between US operations and Singapore-based ownership. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with the property owners. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
