Role Overview: As the Head of Hotel Business Development & Solutions, APAC, you will lead the strategic development and expansion of hotel partnerships across the region, driving innovation and ensuring optimal service delivery for corporate clients. Key Responsibilities: Define and track OKRs to assess the effectiveness of teams and programs. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on hotel partner relationships through continuous coaching and professional growth initiatives. Facilitate decision-making and ensure cross-departmental alignment through effective collaboration with key stakeholders. Act as a brand ambassador at industry conferences and events, enhancing brand visibility and promoting the company’s hotel solutions. Utilize data analytics to guide strategic decisions, prioritize opportunities for inventory enhancement, and optimize client offerings. Build and maintain long-term relationships with hotel suppliers and platforms to secure advantageous deals for clients while maintaining positive brand recognition. Spearhead hotel procurement projects for global clients, focusing on cost savings, exceptional service, and data-driven strategy refinement. Architect and implement a comprehensive hotel strategy to ensure best-in-class inventory that meets diverse client needs. Requirements for this role: Min. 10 years of experience in commercial management and business development within the travel technology industry. Recent 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role is necessary for this role. Strong ability to thrive in a multicultural and dynamic start-up environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including advanced communication, cultural adaptability, empathy, and integrity. Proven experience working independently in a target-driven, fast-paced setting. Comprehensive knowledge of the hotel industry, including GDSs, Channel Managers, and negotiation strategies with hotel chains. Familiarity with TMC markets and corporate client requirements in travel and hospitality sectors. Expertise in regional market dynamics and various supplier contracting methods.
