- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Proficiency with testing equipment and software programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Develop testing processes for raw materials, process control, or finished products
- Monitor production process to ensure quality standards are met
- Prepare reports on test results
- Record data from tests accurately
- Analyze test data to determine product specifications
- Identify areas where changes need to be made in order to improve product performance
