Role Overview

We are seeking a professional to join the People & Culture Team at Calo as an HR Specialist. This role involves a variety of administrative duties, including owning the processes of onboarding, offboarding, and crossboarding, as well as tracking employee records. The HR Specialist will also be responsible for driving employee well-being initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture, while handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills are essential for this position.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Maintain records of employee related data (payroll, personal information, vacations, turnover rates, etc.) in the database and ensure that all staffing requirements are met.
  2. Organize, streamline, and oversee the onboarding process and schedule for new hires.
  3. Lead and maintain the crossboarding and offboarding process for all employees.
  4. Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner.
  5. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  6. Support team leaders and managers in performance management processes.
  7. Develop initiatives focused on employee wellness, well-being, and engagement through events.
  8. Foster a healthy workplace and promote cultural development.
  9. Prepare and submit reports on HR related activities.
  10. Work on assigned HR projects, such as collecting employees feedback.
  11. Carry out any tasks assigned within the scope of competence.

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or any related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in HR focused on Employee Experience.
  3. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

Knowledge and Competency

  1. Into customer centric approach.
  2. Excellent record-keeping abilities.
  3. Must have strong experience in onboarding/offboarding/crossboarding.
  4. Culture development.
